Ingredients: Red Chilli, Coriander, Cumin, Fenugreek, Curry Leaves, Black Gram, Cloves, Cardamom, Bengal Gram, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Mace, Kapok buds.
Boil quarter kilo or 1 cup toor dal along with 1.5 cup rice and vegetables ( Beans, Green peas, Groundnuts). Now, take a pan, add oil or ghee and fry mustard seeds, curry leaves, jeera, asafoetida, dry chilli, bisibele bath powder and then add the vegetable mixture prepared earlier along with a little quantity of jaggery, grated coconut and sufficient water. Boil this mixture till the rice and vegetables are completely cooked and edible. Later on, we may add cashews fried in ghee for better taste.
