Ingredients: Red Chilli, Coriander, Cumin, Pepper, Fenugreek, Ajowan, Turmeric.
First, we have to rub salt over the fish (1 kilo) and set aside for 10-15 minutes. Now, mix and grind half grated coconut, 4-5 teaspoons of fish masala powder, 7-8 garlic cloves and tamarind (size of half lemon). Now gather 1 chopped onion, 15 grams of grated ginger, 5-6 green chilies, curry leaves and fry them until the onions turn golden brown. Now add the grinded mixture previously prepared to this and add half litre of water and boil it properly for 15 minutes. Then to this mixture add the salted fish and boil it for 10 minutes. (for fishes like kane, anjal we need not add grated ginger and green chilies)
Fish Fry recipe for 1 kilo fish:
First, we have to rub salt over the fish (1 kilo) and set aside for 10-15 minutes. Then we have to prepare a masala by adding 3-4 teaspoons of fish masala powder, 2-3 teaspoons of rice flour, tamarind paste (size of lemon) and add salted fish to this. Pan fry or deep fry the fish.
